Nepean Districts 4WD club was started in 1990 and caters to 4WDers in Sydney’s greater west, around Penrith. Our club is an easy going family friendly club, with many members who have kids.

The club runs a variety of events throughout the year from social nights to weekend camping trips. Club trips are generally suitable for standard 4WDs. But for the adventurous the club does a couple of trips with harder grading. For club members, our accredited driver trainers attend most trips and run driver training days throughout the year.
Every year the club holds a Christmas Party trip, where the kids get a visit from Santa and everyone can just sit back and relax. The club holds a major trek every couple of years, the latest being a trip to Fraser Island. The next major trek being planned is to Cape York.

Nepean Districts 4WD club strongly supports the principles of the “Leave No Trace” (formerly Tread Lightly) campaign and follows the 4WD Association’s code of ethics.

General club meetings are held every even month and Social meetings every other. These help to keep members up to date with club trips and events and catch up. If you would like to come along to a meeting or join us on a trip, just send us an email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .
